Getting started

NishBot installs like any desktop app. There is no server to run and no account to create with us.

What you need

• macOS 12 or later, Windows 10 or 11, or a 64-bit Linux desktop.
• A key from an AI provider you already use, or room for a local model.

Install

Signed builds are coming soon. When they are ready, download the installer for your computer from the download page, open it, and start NishBot. Each release ships with checksums, so you can confirm the file is the one we built.

Choose your AI

On first run, NishBot asks which AI your team should use. Paste a key, connect a local server, or download a small local model with your consent. See Choose your AI.

Meet your team

Your Chief of Staff comes with a few ready-made agents, each with a plain job title. Rename them, add one by describing the job, or remove the ones you do not need.

Give your first goal

Type or speak what you need, in a sentence. Your Chief of Staff turns it into cards on the team board, hands them out and tells you when something needs your decision.
